For a post-consumer recycled-content packaging brief, specify the component and the claim you need to support. Oulete must confirm the available material grade, model and supporting documentation before it becomes part of an order.
Ask for the actual material proposal
Request the resin supplier, grade and stated recycled-content basis. Identify whether the proposal covers the body, a closure or several parts. A percentage associated with one component is not automatically the percentage for the complete package.
Approve the proposed version
Use the intended formula and finished assembly for compatibility and functional review. Agree the color and surface reference for the material version being quoted. Record the accepted grade and sample so a repeat order can be checked against the same specification.
Review certification scope
Ask which certificate or declaration supports the proposed claim and what it covers. A supplier certificate and shipment-specific evidence serve different purposes. See the recycled-content certification comparison for questions to ask.
Do not describe the pack as compliant with every recycling or packaging rule merely because recycled material is requested. Your market review needs the actual assembly and applicable requirements.
Request a PCR material proposal or compare PCR and virgin plastic approval.
