Oulete · Shangyu, ShaoxingExplore the details

Start a custom-tool project with a dimensioned brief and the job the part must perform. Oulete has an in-house mold shop; the proposed tool still needs a defined scope, drawing approval and sample review.

Settle the part before the tool

Provide the target capacity, material, closure interface and critical dimensions. Identify the visible surfaces, molded details and decoration planned for the part. Ask for a drawing revision that records the agreed geometry before tool work begins.

Confirm cost and ownership

The documented tooling baseline is RMB 8,000–15,000, with the actual cost confirmed for the project. New-tool orders start at 10,000 pieces. Paid tooling belongs to the customer with written ownership confirmation; the cumulative volume required for a full tooling refund is agreed in the quotation.

Clarify maintenance, storage, modification and transfer arrangements in that written agreement. A change to the part after approval may change the scope and schedule.

Approve samples before production

Review dimensions, appearance and the fit of the complete assembly. Use the actual formula and filling conditions where needed for functional approval. Record corrections against the drawing revision, then retain the accepted sample.

Typical new-tool projects are quoted at 25–30 days, subject to the agreed scope and schedule. Sampling revisions and delivery need to be accounted for in the project plan.

Send your tooling brief or review sample approval.

Put the specification to work

Prepare a sample request. The tool shows its inputs and limits before you use the result in a project brief.
