Oulete operates an in-house spray line. A coating brief should define more than color: identify the component, desired gloss or texture, coverage and the surfaces that must remain clear.
Describe the finished surface
Provide a physical reference where possible. State whether the coating belongs on the bottle body, cap or another selected part. If several components share a finish, review them together so the reference is clear for the assembled pack.
The chosen material and part geometry need to be reviewed before a finish is quoted. Ask for a decorated sample made using the proposed production route.
Agree the coverage boundaries
Identify threads, sealing surfaces, openings and other areas that need masking or must remain uncoated. Include any subsequent printing, foil or labeling in the brief. Confirm space for the batch code and where it will be applied.
A drawing should make these boundaries clear enough for inspection. Keep the accepted sample as the visual reference for the final surface.
Before approving production
Check the finish under agreed viewing conditions and inspect the assembled package. Agree the relevant adhesion, rubbing and handling checks; test conditions should reflect the intended use and distribution of your product.
Typical decorated production takes 18–22 days after the order specification and schedule are agreed. Color development and sample revisions need separate planning.
