Oulete has an in-house electroplating line. The process must be reviewed for the exact component and material; the availability of the line does not mean that every catalog part can receive every plated finish.
Begin with the part specification
Send the model, component drawing or sample and desired finish reference. Clarify which surfaces will be visible in the assembled package and whether a plated cap or collar must coordinate with a printed or coated body.
Ask for the complete proposed route, including surface preparation and any supplier involvement. Settle the process on the selected material before approving a production appearance.
Inspect the finished assembly
Review coverage, visible edges, finish consistency and the fit with adjoining parts. Confirm which threads, sealing surfaces or contact areas must remain outside the treatment. Any dimension critical to assembly belongs in the approved drawing.
Agree the relevant adhesion, handling and environmental checks for the order. Request the report requirements before production so the acceptance record covers the features you intend to inspect.
Claims and documentation
A metallic appearance does not establish the material composition or recyclability of the complete pack. If your market or customer requires substance declarations, identify the exact documentation required for the selected component and process.
