Ask for the full construction behind a tube description. ABL, PBL or mono-material wording does not, by itself, specify layer thicknesses, formula-contact materials or the performance of the finished tube.
Request the layer and component list
Have the proposed tube supplier identify every body layer, the shoulder, closure and other included parts. Request the construction drawing and the evidence for any claimed barrier or recycled-content performance. Confirm how the tube will be supplied to your filler.
Compare using one test brief
Use the same formula, filling and sealing conditions when evaluating alternatives. Agree the storage and performance criteria with your product team, including seal integrity, dispensing and decoration. A result for another product or construction is not approval of your selected tube.
Evaluate the environmental wording
Define whether a mono-material claim applies to the body or the whole assembly. Review the intended collection and recycling route before using a recyclable claim. A construction name cannot settle that question for every market.
Oulete coordinates tube supply and will need to confirm the proposed manufacturer, construction and documentation. Send your tube brief or see cosmetic tubes.
Put the specification to work
Prepare a sample request. The tool shows its inputs and limits before you use the result in a project brief.
