Compare minimums for the same finished packaging specification. A headline MOQ may cover an undecorated body while another quote includes a custom color, pump and printed artwork.
Compare MOQ for one complete pack
Start with one named configuration and retain each supplier’s quoted unit beside its minimum quantity. Confirm the bottle, dispenser and cap references before comparing offers. Record any separate conditions for component, colour and printed versions so a container minimum is not mistaken for the minimum of every part in the proposed assembly.

If a quoted unit is a bottle without its dispenser, flag that difference before comparing the price with a complete set. Where costs or quantities are missing, keep the comparison open and request the missing line. Do not convert an unspecified total into a comparable pack price.

Oulete’s ordering baseline
The material MOQ is 2,000 pieces for plastic containers and 5,000 pieces for glass containers. Confirm the selected model, components, decoration and any new tooling in the project quotation. Compare supplier offers using the same material and complete specification.
Ask every supplier the same questions
Identify whether the minimum is per model, color, artwork version or complete order. Confirm which components and decoration are included, and ask what changes if the quantity is split across several SKUs.
Request current quotes rather than relying on a competitor’s older website figure. A published minimum does not establish the price or lead time for your project.
Balance stock with the launch plan
Map the quoted quantities to your SKU plan and expected replenishment needs. Include samples, filling, shipping and any storage costs in the decision. A smaller first order may suit the plan, but its economics need an actual quotation.

Published packaging MOQ examples: what the number covers
For a 50 ml serum dropper and a 150 ml lotion pump with one-colour printing, a published minimum is a starting point for a quotation. The examples below were checked on . They are supplier statements, not quotations for this two-SKU configuration, and the rows are not a supplier ranking.

No cited page separately establishes every body-only, complete-pack, one-colour print and undecorated-stock purchasing minimum for both requested SKUs. Keep those quotation lines separate. A 5,000-unit family minimum does not establish that 2,500 of each capacity can be combined; a branding option does not establish its setup charge or price inclusion.

The sheet also separates recurring costs from setup, samples, tooling and freight, and records quote validity, usable delivered quantity and unresolved exclusions. It has no supplier prices or automatic calculations. Compare cost per usable finished pack only after the configuration matches, every cost is in the same currency and missing costs have been resolved. Send the completed requirements with a request for an itemised quotation.
Two-SKU MOQ planning: purchased parts are not finished packs
For a 50 ml serum and a 150 ml lotion, calculate each configuration separately before adding a project total. A pump minimum above your launch quantity can create spare pumps; it does not automatically require the same number of complete printed bottles. That distinction only works if the suppliers accept separate component purchasing and retained surplus.
Keep the terms attached to the supplier that publishes them. Bluesky’s ULC page separates a 1,000 minimum for stock items from 10,000 for customized products. Sukai’s SK-00225 page separately lists a 500-piece MOQ attribute and a 500-piece label minimum, 1,000 for graphic customization and 3,000 for colour customization. These statements, checked on 17 October 2026, do not separately confirm a one-colour printed complete pack, component inclusion or pooled quantities across the two requested SKUs.

A quantity example with surplus inventory
Hypothetical purchasing terms, not an Oulete quotation: one SKU needs 1,000 planned finished packs, each using one bottle and one complete closure kit. Assume a bottle minimum of 2,000, a closure-kit minimum of 5,000 and a one-colour printing minimum of 3,000 bottles. Assume quantities can be ordered in single-unit increments, surplus parts can be retained, and only the required print quantity needs printing.

For this restricted purchasing model, printed bottles = max(planned packs, print minimum); bottles purchased = the next allowed order multiple at or above max(planned packs, bottle minimum, print minimum); closure kits purchased = the next allowed order multiple at or above max(planned packs, closure-kit minimum). Extra bottles caused solely by the order multiple remain unprinted in the model.
The planner below applies this method separately to both SKUs. Leave unknown values blank. It does not infer shared MOQ, current stock, component compatibility, assembly minimums, losses or cost. If a quotation requires all purchased parts to be assembled, all purchased bottles to be printed, or increments added after the MOQ rather than multiples from zero, this calculation does not apply.
