Choose resin at the component level. A body, cap, inner cup and pump can have different functions and material requirements, even when they form one visually matched pack.
Write the functional brief
Provide the formula category, filling conditions, desired dispensing action and storage environment. Identify the surfaces in contact with the product. Ask for the supplier and exact grade designation for each proposed plastic component.
Separate appearance from qualification
Approve color, transparency, surface finish and decoration on the sample. In parallel, use the actual filled assembly for the compatibility and functional work defined by your product team. A technical sheet for raw resin does not approve the finished decorated package.
Compare alternatives on the same basis
When reviewing virgin and recycled-content versions, keep the component geometry and performance criteria clear. Obtain the documentation for the actual proposed grade. If a change is made after sample approval, record it and review which checks need repeating.
See the material selection pages for PP, PET, PETG, HDPE and other construction briefs. Send the component specification to request a model proposal.
Put the specification to work
Prepare a sample request. The tool shows its inputs and limits before you use the result in a project brief.
