A 100 g jar brief needs both fill and packing inputs
For a larger net-mass brief, identify the actual required volume before comparing catalog families. A 100 g label is not evidence that the same numbered milliliter option will accommodate the formula and planned headspace.

Ask for a filled sample to assess handling and closure use. Then request the proposed protective packing and carton count using the selected body and lid.
Estimate freight only after dimensions and gross carton weight are available. Keep the formula-density calculation separate from those shipping measurements: they answer different questions.
