Specify which parts of the pack must be polypropylene. A PP jar body does not establish the material of its lid, liner, decoration or dispensing assembly. Ask for a component list and the exact proposed resin grade before approving a material claim.

Questions for the material review
Ask whether the proposed grade is intended for the selected molding process, color and part geometry. If the brief requires recycled content, obtain the grade and sourcing documentation for that version rather than extending the virgin-grade approval to it.
A manufacturer’s PP grade page illustrates why grade identification matters: it lists intended processing routes for a named resin. It is background information, not evidence that Oulete uses that grade.
Approve the assembly
Check the jar with its actual closure and liner. Include opening and reclosing, filled-product storage, leakage where relevant, decoration and shipping conditions in the sample plan. Agree the acceptance criteria with your filling and quality teams.
For a mono-material brief, request the materials of every included component and the intended recycling route. A PP body alone does not support a claim about the whole package.
