A PET packaging request should identify the intended bottle, fill volume, closure and appearance. The resin abbreviation is only one part of the specification; the finished bottle and its dispensing system need approval together.

Send the actual filling conditions

Provide the formula category, filling temperature, storage conditions and distribution plan. Ask for the proposed bottle grade and its supporting technical information. Confirm suitability for your process before selecting a production pack, particularly if the brief includes elevated-temperature filling.

The Eastman packaging portfolio includes a named PET grade for cosmetic and personal-care packaging. Its description is specific to that grade and does not qualify an unspecified PET bottle.

Decide what the customer will see

Approve transparency or opacity, the appearance with the intended fill, the label area and any decoration. If a recycled-content version is requested, agree the visible reference and documentation for that version before order approval.

Check the closure interface

Obtain the neck drawing and approve the actual closure, liner or pump on the bottle. Include the filled assembly in leakage, handling and distribution checks. A matching nominal neck size is a starting point for review, not a completed fit test.

Ask Oulete to identify the model and supply route available for your brief. Do not treat this material overview as a live stock list.

Send your material brief or return to packaging materials.
