For a bamboo-look or bamboo-component package, specify what should be bamboo and what must perform the containment and sealing functions. The quotation needs to identify the actual materials, rather than relying on the visual reference.
Oulete can review a component-sourcing request. Availability, construction and supplier responsibilities must be confirmed for the selected design; this page does not establish in-house bamboo processing.
Ask for a component breakdown
Identify the outer shell, inner vessel, cap, liner and any adhesive or coating. Confirm which parts contact the formula and how the assembly is joined. If the design has a removable insert, approve the removal and replacement action on the sample.
Agree an appearance reference
Provide the desired color and finish direction, then agree how variation will be assessed. Review the complete assembly for fit, closure operation and visible interfaces. A photograph is useful for direction but should not be the only production acceptance record.
Assess the proposed claim
Do not label the whole pack plastic-free, biodegradable or recyclable merely because one visible part is bamboo. Obtain the composition and evidence relevant to the exact claim and target market.
Include the intended storage and distribution conditions in the sample plan. For refill use, define the cleaning responsibilities, replacement component and number of use cycles to be evaluated before making a durability claim.
Send your material brief or return to packaging materials.

Put the specification to work
Build a material evaluation brief. The tool shows its inputs and limits before you use the result in a project brief.
