A new mold begins with an agreed component drawing and a clear reason that existing tooling cannot meet the brief. Define the geometry, assembly and appearance before committing to the tooling scope.

Make the quotation reviewable

Ask what the tooling price covers, the proposed sample stages, ownership and storage terms, and the expected production quantity. Oulete has an in-house mold shop; paid tooling belongs to the customer with written ownership confirmation.

Review the first samples

Check the drawing revision, critical dimensions, appearance and fit with adjoining components. Record the findings and any required correction. Approve the selected material and final decorated assembly as well as the molded shape.

Release a defined specification

Keep the approved drawing, sample and inspection requirements together. If a later change affects the tool, confirm the cost and schedule before work starts.

New-tool projects start at 10,000 pieces. The quotation defines the cumulative quantity required for a full tooling refund. See tooling guide and order terms.

Put the specification to work

Prepare a sample request. The tool shows its inputs and limits before you use the result in a project brief.
