For a polypropylene component, approve the foil on the actual part and finish combination. A general material description cannot establish whether a particular decorated surface meets your order requirements.
Match the sample to the order
Record the component specification, artwork, foil reference and proposed process. If the part also receives a coating or another treatment, make sure the sample includes that complete route.
Define the acceptance check
Agree what will be inspected for appearance and adhesion, the test method, conditions and acceptance criteria. Review edge definition and coverage as well as how the finish performs under the handling conditions relevant to your pack.
Keep the reference complete
Retain the accepted sample and its component and process records. When artwork, foil or substrate changes, request a review before assuming the same approval applies.
See foil stamping or sampling to prepare a decorated-sample request.
Put the specification to work
Prepare a sample request. The tool shows its inputs and limits before you use the result in a project brief.
