A target fill volume does not determine tube diameter on its own. The selected diameter, length, shoulder and closure all need to fit the product brief and filling process.

Prepare the dimensional brief

State the intended fill, formula category, desired pack proportions and any limits from cartons, displays or filling equipment. Include the closure style and dispensing opening. Ask for a dimensioned sample or drawing rather than selecting by a photograph alone.

Check the finished pack

Review the tube with the intended fill and closing process. Check the usable artwork area, any sealing zone and space for coding. Confirm how the final filled and sealed dimensions differ from the empty sample supplied for initial review.

Confirm the supply route

Ask the quotation to identify the tube specification, component supplier responsibilities and minimums. Verify the complete pack with your filler before committing to production tooling or artwork.

Use the contact page to send the brief and see sampling for the approval record.

Put the specification to work

Prepare a sample request. The tool shows its inputs and limits before you use the result in a project brief.
